ICE attendees will have a unique opportunity to be guided through the history, sovereignty and commercial nature of the Native American gambling industry by National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) chairman and national spokesman Ernie Stevens.

Mr Stevens will be in London to deliver the Tribal Gaming seminar's 'US Indian Gaming: The $28bn Dollar Industry' keynote address. During the free-to-attend session, taking place on Tuesday 3 February, Ernie Stevens will explore the history, magnitude and impact of the Native American gambling industry, and explain how it has evolved into a multi-billion dollar 'gambling juggernaut'.

ICE Head Of Content, Ewa Bakun, said: “Tribal gaming is a vital aspect of the US gaming landscape, which is why understanding how tribal sovereignty influences the decisions made by tribal governments, gaming commissions and casinos is now an essential part of doing business in North America. We have developed the Tribal Gaming seminar to help gaming industry professionals from throughout the world navigate the intricacies of doing business with the tribal community. Ernie Steven has been head of NIGA for over 14-years, and his session will give visitors a unique insight into tribal gaming culture.”

The 'Tribal Gaming: US Indian Country open for business' seminar has been organised in partnership with Victor Rocha, owner and editor of Pechanga.net, the leading source of news on the US Indian Country. It includes a full-day of discussions on the history, emotions, sovereignty, and commercial realities that dictate the way both land-based and online gaming is operated by the US Native American tribes.
