What determines the value of an iGaming business when it is put up for sale? Revenue is an important starting point, but licensing gaps, tax exposure and unresolved contractual issues can change the terms of a transaction. Preparing before negotiations begin is the focus of an upcoming free webinar hosted by the Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS).
“Exit-Ready: What Mid-Sized Operators Should Fix Before Talking to Buyers” will take place on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, at 13:00 CET. The session will run for 60 minutes.
The speaker will be Atanas Mihaylov, Counsel at Kinstellar, who has more than 20 years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and complex tax matters. Based in the firm’s Sofia office, his work covers both the legal and tax aspects of transactions.
The programme will explore how prospective buyers assess the quality and sustainability of revenue, and how identified risks can affect valuation. Particular attention will be paid to licensing requirements, change-of-control approvals, anti-money laundering obligations and responsible gambling rules.
Other topics will include tax and legal liabilities, player claims and outstanding commercial issues that can complicate negotiations. The webinar will outline practical steps for identifying and addressing these matters in advance, helping sellers strengthen their preparation and reduce surprises at a later stage of the transaction.
